Our Favorite Chia Pudding Recipes

The term “small yet mighty” is definitely what comes to mind whenever we think about the little guy that makes up today’s topic: THE CHIA SEED!

No, it’s not just a cute and sometimes hilarious seed you use on the famous chia pet products 😜 This little guy packs an incredible punch health-wise, and is even one of the ingredients in AO’s Buffing Grains!

Here are a few of the many qualities just 2 tablespoons of chia seeds have:

•41% of your daily fiber intake

•32% of your daily magnesium intake

•20% protein

•5x more calcium than milk

•64% more potassium than a banana

•3x more iron than spinach

•100% more omega-3 than salmon

•2x more antioxidants than blueberries

•and so much more!

What’s our favorite way to use them? We love putting a tablespoon into a glass of water and letting them sit for 5-10 minutes before drinking it to help ward off hunger, as they keep you feeling full! And who’s tried chia pudding? Incredible, right?

Our personal chia pudding recipe is hands down the easiest:

1/4 cup chia seeds and 1 cup Silk brand vanilla flavored oat milk creamer. Put both ingredients in a glass and stir well with a spoon. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. I prefer overnight. That’s it!
